Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, reporting any significant changes immediately.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document all clinical findings, treatments, and patient responses accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
