Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical charts to ensure accurate assessment and timely interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to develop patient care plans.
- Provide compassionate patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and responses to treatment accurately and promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state of Tennessee (or compact state eligibility).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
