Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage upon admission and throughout the shift.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in clinical status.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the broader healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, infection control policies, and nursing standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (Med-Surg or ICU preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
