Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to all infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, but new grads are welcome with appropriate training.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
