Your Role:
You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and administering treatments while ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the shift.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changing patient conditions.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible weekend schedules, including rotating shifts and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
