Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the charge nurse or provider immediately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment by adhering to safety standards and infection control procedures.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
