Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and hospital protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and documentation
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess conditions, and respond to emergency situations
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license (or compact license)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system or similar platforms
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
