Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical observations.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical patient needs.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (HIPAA, OSHA).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
