Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and treatment assistance
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
- Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory compliance standards
- Participate in shift handovers and team huddles for continuity of care
- Assist in emergency response situations under supervision
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN/BSN) required
- Active Indiana RN license (or eligible to obtain upon hire)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care setting preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
