Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by conducting physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and document all clinical findings accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Respond to medical emergencies with quick, decisive action and proper de-escalation techniques.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
