Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop treatment plans
- Conduct patient assessments and provide health education
- Participate in telehealth triage for remote consultation support
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS beneficial
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
