Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Assessment: Conduct thorough health assessments and monitor patient status to detect changes and intervene appropriately.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established hospital protocols.
- Care Planning: Develop, implement, and revise individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical records and patient charts.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other staff to ensure holistic patient care.
- Emergency Response: Respond immediately to medical emergencies and assist in trauma care situations.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to hospital hygiene and infection prevention standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
