Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously, documenting vital signs and changes in real-time.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the State of Texas.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an acute care or medical-surgical setting.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
