Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to therapies, escalating concerns immediately to the care team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience (New grads with BSN are encouraged to apply).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
