Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and administering medications with precision.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and disease prevention.
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively, utilizing critical thinking and advanced life support skills.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
