Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and patient evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status, identifying changes that require immediate attention.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and responses to treatment accurately.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
