Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document clinical observations and patient progress in electronic health records
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PENNS preferred)
- Minimum 1-2 years acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
