Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute care settings with critical thinking and precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with meticulous documentation
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations swiftly
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota (compact license accepted)
- BSN or associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
