Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Emergency Response: Remain calm and effective during critical situations, initiating appropriate interventions and life-saving measures.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
