Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through history taking, physical exams, and review of medical records.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare team and patients.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, medication management, and health promotion strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
