Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols
- Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and monitor treatment effectiveness
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Illinois (required)
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (ICU/ER highly desirable)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Electronic health record proficiency (Epic/EMR systems)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
