Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, reporting any changes immediately.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing station.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
