Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies while strictly adhering to safety protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and clinical status continuously, escalating critical issues immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide clear education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New graduates encouraged to apply).
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred, depending on unit assignment.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-volume settings.
