Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare team members to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond immediately to any changes in status or emergencies.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
