Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse units including ICU, ER, and Telemetry
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated treatment plans
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and hospital protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Active NM RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in relevant specialty
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
