Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and promptly report any changes or adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
