Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient health status, recognize changes in condition, and respond immediately to emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure holistic care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
