Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans dynamically based on clinical changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and nursing protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Document patient care services, outcomes, and changes in medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in the State of Arizona required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume acute care environment.
- Previous experience in a hospital or medical setting is highly valued.
