Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, alerting physicians and charge nurses to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to promote recovery and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, applying critical thinking and rapid assessment skills.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems.
- Candidate must pass a background check and drug screen.
