Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, escalating critical issues immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in the EMR system.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred (New graduates encouraged to apply).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
