Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to ensure holistic patient treatment.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to safety and infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, in a high-volume setting.
