Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and treatment according to established protocols and hospital policies.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and report changes in patient condition immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and charge nurses.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities, treatments, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, care instructions, and health promotion strategies.
- Respond to medical emergencies with composure and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, though new graduates with exceptional potential are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.
