Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the wider care team to ensure holistic patient recovery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, including vital signs and treatment progress.
- Provide high-quality patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during critical times.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate necessary interventions to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (New graduates may be considered).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards.
