Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical orders and safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and care provided.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BSN preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience considered.
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS and PALS preferred for specialty units).
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient engagement.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
