Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with nursing standards.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop optimal patient care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and alert physicians to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume medical environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and privacy standards (HIPAA).
