Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and medical charts.
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
