Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
- Monitor patient vitals and responses to treatments, documenting changes immediately.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
