Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and self-care management
- Participate in emergency response and code blue situations
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current Kansas RN license (or compact license with ability to obtain KS license)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred for certain units)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience preferred
- Graduation from accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
