Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical standards.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status continuously, intervening immediately in case of emergencies.
- Document all patient care activities, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the EMR system.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medication regimens, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, surgeons, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (new graduates with excellent credentials considered).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
