Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, ensuring patient safety.
- Monitor patient health and promptly report any changes or adverse reactions to the attending physician.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic and patient-centered care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Respond efficiently to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to professional ethics.
