Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Supervise nursing staff and assist in orientation of new team members
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
