Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Lead rapid response teams during critical situations
- Mentor new nurses and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active DC RN license (compact license preferred)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred for specialty roles
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications; specialty certifications (e.g., CCRN, ONCC) highly valued
- Demonstrated proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient advocacy
