Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status to identify changes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, reactions, and progress in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist in trauma situations with composure and speed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (ADN or BSN).
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or eligibility for Virginia licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to lift, stand, and move for extended periods as required by patient needs.
