Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, reporting any changes or concerns immediately to the charge nurse or physician.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and efficient patient care delivery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care provided.
- Respond to medical emergencies with calmness and efficiency, following hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
