Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
- Mentor junior nursing staff and contribute to clinical excellence programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State (NYSED)
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS or TNCC certification preferred
- Proven expertise in EHR systems (EPIC experience strongly preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and clinical judgment abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
