Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications, treatments, and injections with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Lead emergency response protocols and rapid assessment interventions
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact license)
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS or TNCC a plus
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems and clinical documentation
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
