Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient health status, document vital signs, and promptly report any changes or adverse reactions to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other staff to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
- Provide patient education, discharge instructions, and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Adhere to all hospital safety policies, infection control measures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
