Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitoring patient progress and documenting vital signs and clinical outcomes.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient recovery.
- Providing patient and family education regarding medical conditions and treatment options.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in accordance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
