Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously, documenting vital signs and changes in real-time.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Assist in triage and emergency response situations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the District of Columbia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New grads welcome).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.
