Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care across diverse medical units
- Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions per protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and outcomes in EMR systems with precision
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and infection control standards
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and self-care management
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Mentor new staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana (LSBN)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in med-surg/ICU/ER
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
